Delicious breakfast and cozy atmosphere
I had a lovely one-night stay where the highlight was definitely the breakfast, featuring a delicious full English with top-notch bacon and sausages. The room was spacious, boasting rustic beams and a comfy bed, adding to the inviting atmosphere. the wifi was a bit lacking, which made it a struggle for my needs.

Great breakfast and comfy bed, but the music was repetitive.

The room was really nice, spacious, and had a charming vibe. Despite being close to the road, it was surprisingly quiet. I liked the old-style decor, and it felt cozy overall. There was some noise from the pipes, but the bed was comfy. One downside was a missing leg on the bed, which was a bit awkward until it was fixed. The cleanliness was decent, though a couple of areas felt a bit neglected. Mostly, I enjoyed my time there in the room.

We had a fantastic time with a spacious family room that was perfect for our little ones, and the food in the cozy restaurant was really good! It was great to relax in the lovely garden area and enjoy the sun terrace after a long day. The only downside was that the garden furniture could use a bit of an upgrade for more comfort, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyable stay! 😊

Recommended for a family getaway
The stay at this place was memorable. My kids adored the bunk beds and the giant bathroom which made our mornings fun and easy.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but it was still acceptable for what we received.

The period style building converted into hotel accommodation is quite charming, complemented by the good restaurant and bar area featuring an old-style flagstone floor. The breakfast options were delightful, particularly the half-full English, and the coffee was fantastic. there was a slight wait during peak hours, and the noise from the bar area tended to carry into the rooms, which could be bothersome at times.

Nice stay, but needs more staff
So, we were here for a night and the food was pretty tasty when we finally got it, but man, they were understaffed! We had to wait way too long for drinks and food. The bar vibe was a bit off. On the plus side, breakfast was delish and the bed was comfy! Felt a bit rushed in the dining area tho.

Had a delightful evening with friends. The open fire and vintage decor created a cozy setting. While I enjoyed my quality burger, some found their meals lacking flavor and staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Still, I would return for the ambiance and a second chance at the menu.

The bedroom above the kitchen felt excessively warm due to the heat rising from below, which wasn't ideal for sleep. The extractor fan in the bathroom needed repairs, as it didn’t work at all, and the stained carpet in the bedroom gave a slightly dingy impression. Although I aimed for a quieter room, substantial noise from the main road lingered, and better exterior lighting would help navigate the area, especially when approaching the hotel in the dark. One oddity included spotting a rogue pair of socks in the blanket drawer, which was a surprise.
